Maria Ramos is a freelance broadcast journalist.

London born and based – her TV experience here includes anchoring and reporting for Bloomberg TV and hosting UNICEF’s global debates.

Passionate about the Middle East and learning Arabic – Maria spent 6 years reporting for Bahrain TV and freelancing for BBC World and CNBC TV. Her coverage included reports from Syria, Jordan, Turkey and the UAE.

Maria also worked as a radio news reader for Bahrain’s national English Radio station.

In 2011, Maria co-founded a London-based communications agency for Spanish multinationals.

She has now stepped in to the challenging and exciting role as Media Advisor to the CEO of Formula E – the new global FIA electric motor racing championship.

Maria also speaks Spanish, French, Italian and Arabic.
